Snow Flake

Custom Search

Open a new document. Size 640 by 480. Make sure the background is BLACK and the foreground WHITE.

Now create a new layer-once layer is created, Click on the custom shape tool. and choose the snow flake anyone will do. I picked the first one. Once you have the shape you want. Hold down the shift key and drag out your shape.

 

 

Now go to Edit>Transform>rotate 90 CW. Next step- Click on Filter > Stylize > wind and set the following shown to the left.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Rotate image about 3 times and each time apply the wind effect. with the same setting as above.

 
Select -Filter > Artistic> Sponge -Use the setting below.
To color your image-Do the following, Image > Adjustment > Hue/Saturation, check off the colorize box. and play around with the color until you have what you want.

Next-GO to filter > Plastic wrap ( Use the below settings)

Almost done. Now click on the Blending options, choose satin and change the blending color to white and blending mode to overlay.Your Finish.....Good luck
