Fire Text

Step 1.
Create a new layer, Make it a size of your liking, Type something :Fire" "Hot" whatever you want. then make sure your text layer is selected, hold down on the ALT button then go to merge visible on the layer menu window ( this action will create a black stage)

Make sure your using the new layer to apply the filters......

.Step 2.
Go to Edit-transfer-rotate 90 ccw

Step 3.
Go to filter-stylize-wind ----in the menu box that comes make sure METHOD = wind and DIRECTION = from right and repeat the same effect about 3 times

Step 4- Rotate objest to it orginal position. Edit-transform-rotate 90cw

Step 5 Go to filter-blur-Guassian blur and set the Radius to 2.5

Step 6 Go to Image-Adjustment-hue/saturation --set hue to 38 and Saturation to 100 make sure the colorize box is check on .then click ok

Now duplicate the top layer....make sure its selected and go to layer-duplicate layer.

Make sure the new layer is now selected, it should be the top layer, and select -Color Dodge in the layers window ( default should be normal) change normal to color dodge

Now blend the two fire layer together . using the window layer menu. and click merge down.

Then go to filter liquify- Using the first tool to the left.....Make the brush size to 19. and drag the fire in a swirlling motion. When your finish click ok

Now move the orginal text later above the fire layer. and go to layer-layer styles-blending option - choose whatever color you want I choose cd8787- to make it look a bit faded.

Still in the Layer window-- click on Inner glow and apply the default setting.

There you go! you are finish.
