Step 1

Open your image in photoshop and lets begin to have fun.

Step 2

Grab the pen tool and draw a figure simular to the way you want your wings to look.

If your having difficulties your welcome to use my drawing as a sample.

Draw directly on the leaf layer.

Step 3

Once you have completed drawing with the Pen tool, with the pen tool still selected,

right click and a menu box should pop-up, go and select Make Selection.

Keep Feather Radius to (0) . Click ok.

Step 4

You should have something simular to what I have below, Now go to Edit-Copy-Paste.

Step 5

The above action should have given you a selection of you WINGS. As shown below.

Step 6

In this step we are going to add some detail to the wings.

To do this we are going to need to cut out the VINE from our leaf.

Step 7

Now you will need to have step 5 image ready

and the above image and make sure this layer is above your wing layer.

Step 8

Now we will begin to warp the vine to the top part of the wings

giving you a result as we have below.

Step 9

OK almost done burn the edges of the vine

and lower the opacity to about 81% or to your suited need.

Step 10

Changing the color of your wings and combine layers.

To change the color-go to Image-Adjestment -Hue\Sauration.

and make sure you have color box checked off.

Flip your wings around for a better angel.
