
Creating Realistic Ice
In this tutorial, I will demonstrate how to give a realistic ice texture to your shapes using Layer Styless

Step one - Open a new document, set the background to the size you want. I'm using 270 by 249 |

Step two- Using the gradient tool choose a white and blue background color and apply it to the stage. |

Step four- In the custon shape tool are some of the pre-defined shapes which we can see in the options palette.-Choose the snowflake Once you have the snowflake on the stage- We now need to lower the fill to "0%" The snowflake in your background should disappear . |

Step five- In this step you need to the layer style window- we will be doing alot of work in here. first- Check off Bevel and emboss and click on Bevel and emboss a menu should open. For style choose inner bevel- Play with the depth to your liking. Under shading pick Gloss contour and choose one to your liking. Choose a texture-I picked the Bubbles then I add an inner glow to make my snow gloss more |
