Lady In Mask

This tutorial I will show you how to create a simple mask.

I did this tutorial because I was looking for something like this over the net and was unable to find. So through trial and error I can up with this. Hope you like it.

Ok lets begin- Open your image in photoshop-

Using the pen tool, Make a selection around the face. see sample

Once you have completed the selection, right click using the pen tool on the image. then select- Make selection- Place the feather at 1px -After doing this you see you image has a moving selection over it.

Go to -image-copy-paste, the face layer you have selected in now paste into a new layer-

Hide the image layer.Which should be your background, leaving the face only on the stage.

Don't worry about the rough edges.

Go to Filter-Artistic-Plastic wrap and apply the following setting to the mask.

Go to Layer-Layer Style-Bevel and Emboss- And Apply the following setting- (setting) <-- view result

Use the pen tool and delet the eyes- click here if you need help with that.

Using the eraser tool,erase the edge of mask and use the pen tool and draw a crack on the mask.
